In February 2025, my husband and I purchased 3 acres of land across the street from my current pottery shop with the plan of moving my shop.
This land was my grandfathers and was in the family for many years, so it is very special to me that we get to call it the future home of my business!
The land we purchased has a cabin on site that we plan to turn into the forever home of Kluba Ceramics. The space will be double the size of my current space with plenty of parking.
Some more super exciting news is that we plan to build on another room to the cabin to be able to offer "Paint Your Own Pottery" classes and events!
The cabin as well as the property itself needs a lot of work before we can move.
My goal is to come up with $8,000 and to start working on the cabin this fall and have it completed by next Summer (2026).
I have been trying to think of ways to come up with some money to go towards our huge project...after lots of time and consideration, I am super excited to announce my "Wild Clay, Wilder Dreams" campaign.
Over the next few months I plan to release 100 Sgrafitto mugs made with wild clay from our property with a limited edition design on them. I plan to sell these mugs at $80/each which will raise $8,000 to help us with renovating and relocating Kluba Ceramics to our forever home!
Each mug will be numbered (1-100) and come with a special story card with our campaign and expansion plans.
Every single penny earned from the sales of these 100 mugs goes directly towards renovations of our new pottery shop.
Everyone who purchases a mug will have the opportunity to have a photo taken of them with their new limited edition mugs to be displayed in my new pottery shop indefinitely.
I have decided to release 4 batches of 25 mugs. The first batch will be released at the beginning of September with the remaining batches of 25 being released at the beginning of October, November, and December as well.
My husband and I have been working nonstop on cleaning up the new property and we are finally ready to start renovations! I have been so anxious to share the big news with everyone, I hope you all are as excited as we are!
